Student enrollment follows the “public school year” (generally August – June). Students are billed monthly on the 15th of each month for the following month.
Enrollment allows consistent lesson days and times for your convenience. For example, Sally Smith has reserved lessons at 3:30pm every Wednesday.
On rare occasions students are unable to continue with lessons. In such cases, notification of cancelation prior to the 15th of the month is necessary to avoid being billed.
For example, Sally enrolls in lessons at the beginning of the school year. In January she discovers that she will be moving out of state in March. If she provided notification to Mary on February 14th then Mary is able open Sally’s previously reserved lesson time for enrollment of a new student. Without notification of intent to cancel, Mary will continue to save Sally’s lesson time which will result in billing at the standard rate.
Contact me before lesson time and make-up lesson will be provided if possible. Regular lesson time is not counted as a make-up lesson.te.

Practicing during the week is strongly suggested in order to gain the most from your lessons and to see the most improvement .
Each song 5 times a day, 4 days a week.
Practicing during the week is important to get the most from your lessons and the best option is having a piano of your own. The key is to have regular weekly access to a piano. In the absence of being able to play a acoustic or digital piano a smaller keyboard may work in the beginning but you’ll quickly outgrow the smaller keyboard as your skill level increases.
An acoustic piano produces sound by a hammer striking a string.
A digital piano uses a computer to electronically generate the sound of an acoustic piano when the player presses the weighted keys.
A keyboard produces an electronic note of one volume when the player presses a spring loaded key
Do you have a piano in your home that is collecting dust? Have you ever considered learning how to play? Or, did you benefit from the piano lessons of your youth and want to pass those skills on to your kids? Contact Mary today to reserve a time slot. Space is limited.
